Yesterday I went into the gym amped and ready to smash goals. On this new training system if you are not intense or lack any drive you will fail within a week. This brings me to my fitness tip of the day: When in the gym, take a no nonsense approach. Put some headphones in, drown out all distractions, and focus at the task at hand. Forget work, forget your baby mama drama, forget the guys and girls trying to talk to you. Be that asshole and let people know you’re there to work. You will gain respect because if you take this approach your time will be optimized and you will reach another level of intensity. Too many people mistakenly fall into talking in between sets; a quick convo can turn into, five, ten, even twenty minutes. That’s time you should be focusing on and smashing goals. Save the talk for AFTER you have completed the task at hand. My friend Kelsey told me a story today that really pissed me off. She busts her ass, check her page out, there’s no denying results. Anyhow, this guy kept trying to get her attention. She was clearly working hard, sweat dripping, headphones in. This fool had the audacity to come up to her, and take her headphones out! Ummmm can we ask what the five fingers said to the face? That would have ended very badly had it been me, or if I had even witnessed that. Respect people’s space and work ethic. Simply disrespectful. His gym membership was revoked….douchebag. Let people know you are there to work, not socialize. Results don’t lie and you sure as hell don’t get them talking. Anyway, my workout was beast mode as usual yesterday. I am not going into the logistics of my new system; it is highly advanced and requires tons of studying and experience. If interested email or message me and I’ll send you a link to the E-book that is available for purchase. Leg Press: 680 pounds – 6 sets of 4, 10 second rest between sets + intense stretching Hammer Strength Single Leg Extension – 35 pound per side – 6 sets of 4, 10 second rest + intense stretching Lying Leg curl – 110 pounds – 5 sets of 4, 1 set at 130 pounds, 10 second rest Standing Calf Raises – 2 sets ProBar Lat Pull Downs – 1 set of 32 to failure Incline Cable Fly – 1 set of 30-40 failure (lost count) + partials DB Lateral Raise – 1 set of 30-40 to failure + partials Machine Preacher Curl – 80 pounds – 6 sets of 4, 10 seconds rest That’s it. Intense, under 45 minutes. PUMP city! Also stay tuned for a new client testimonial with pictures tomorrow. Go ahead and follow him and his journey. Amazing work by friend and my client Daniel Tried to capture the pump but I waited a little too late. Nonetheless here is after yesterday's workout. I did not feel like Superman! | Vitamin Shoppe >>> GNC IN MY OPINION....I nearly get into a fight every time I enter a GNC here due to some nonlifting pompous ass trying to test me and think I am some ignorant meathead that's dumb enough to buy the latest and greatest marketing scam. No disrespect, GNC has legit workers, but everyone I've been to aroundhere in NON FITNESS USA is a joke. Consequently, Vitamin Shoppe is my choice. I just bought the VS Brand Whey Tech Pro Strawberries and Creme. Not bad at all brothers and sisters. 24 grams of protein per scoop (out of 31 grams total meaning LESS FILLERS), 3 carbs, 1 fat. Pretty quality in my opinion and it tastes and mixes great. Take advantage of this sale, I think it will end at the end of the month! They also have my favorite energy drink BANG. It is packed with 357 mg caffeine per can as well as many other goodies! Try em out, they are on sale at VS for 2 for $3! |
